Rock climbing, a very popular activity in Greece (you may already the climbing areas of Kalymnos), can be practiced also in our region, Corinthia! In fact, Sector Frygani is the latest development in Peloponnese climbing! A long limestone face with conglomerate features, it is located less than 40 minutes from Daphne’s Club, on the eastern foot of Mount Ziria and near the mythical Lake Stymphalia plateau. Sector Frygani consists of two cliffs: the main crag, featuring about 40 routes, and a smaller sector named Mylos, which is just down the road on the opposite side, featuring 10 more harder routes. All routes are fully bolted with stainless steel bolts, hangers, and clippable lower-offs. With an emphasis on easy and mid-grades, routes have been densely bolted to allow climbers to climb safely and to encourage lead climbing and onsight attempts. Read more Sectors Frygani & Mylos here.

Mylos is located almost opposite Frygani (2.5 km away, 5 minutes drive) over an old renovated watermill and has opposite orientation, ie shade in the morning. Only 10 routes have been opened yet, but the field is quite extensive and there are possibilities for too many more. Plans are to open here several more routes of all levels, so even on warm days it will be possible to climb in the morning. Limestone is similar to Frygani, with fewer crocks.
