Open water swimming

Daphne’s Club is a perfect base for open water swimming in the Gulf of Corinth, Greece. Swimming here is suitable for swimmers of all levels, individuals or groups. 

Daily itineraries can include open water swimming itineraries of up to 3 miles with more advanced options available, including swimming across the Gulf itself (10 miles)!

Swimming in the Gulf of Corinth is ideal for open water swimming from May to October with average water temperatures of 20 degrees Celsius (late spring 18 degrees Celsius, summer 25 degrees Celsius, early autumn 21 degrees Celsius)!

Other options include

  • boat escort to beautiful bays in the Gulf of Corinth and the Saronic Gulf, where you can swim next to abrupt cliffs, inside hidden water caves, and even in a salt-water lake.
  • Swim one-way to nearby towns and villages for a drink and be driven back.
  • Combine swimming and a guided hike.
  • A SUP (Stand up paddle board) is available for partners and children traveling with you who would like to follow your swim!
  • Be filmed swimming to help improve your technique and endurance.
  • Swim in a mountain lake.
  • Choose yoga and massage sessions for after your swim.
  • Take a break from the sea to go on Ancient Greek sightseeing excursions and other activities, such as climbing and bungee jumping.
  • Special half-board option with meals catered for you. Wine tasting available upon request.
