Happy Guest network

The Happy Guest project is a network of businesses which offer our guests special offers and discounts on their products or services. To claim their discounts, our guests are given at check-in a special membership card, which they can use during their stay in all cooperating businesses.

The Idea behind the project
Instead of the prevailing tourism model of the “all-inclusive package”, in which guests stay protected and pampered inside an enclosed, but detached, space, we propose a different travel concept: the “integratedopen-village network“, an open, but integrated, space, where locals and travellers interact regularly.

The “integrated, open-village network“, connects travellers, hoteliers and local business, creating a series of pluri-directional spill-over effects, which are not only financial, but deeply cultural too. Information, experiences and ideas circulate between those arriving and those living and working here and then circulate outwards as travellers take their experiences with them back home. Thus from small local organic strawberry producer to hotel breakfast table to the return trip, travellers’ minds are shaped by their travel experience. And from that same interaction our local minds are shaped too !

Therefore, much more than being a mere bunch of discounts on food and shopping, our “Happy guest” network of cooperating businesses aims to connect you integrally to the place where you spend your holidays and the people who live and work here!
