Baby Waterfalls in Corinthia
Baby Waterfalls around Daphne’s Club
The summer of 2023 has been a pretty hot one, leaving me with an irresistible urge to flee to the coolness of mountain forests and the freshness of mountain rivers. To my great luck, friends and colleagues living and working at the foothill of Mount Kyllene had spent the spring foraging for unknown waterfalls and had discovered quite a few!
Let me add a first disclaimer straight away: this post is not about waterfalls in the league of the Niagara or Victoria Falls! World-class waterfalls they might not be, but this collection of Baby Waterfalls is accessible, pretty and family-friendly! You can visit them and still have time to enjoy your morning and afternoon swim in the sea; and you can also combine them with other sights in the area, as well as with food and wine 🙂
A second disclaimer has to do with the names: they have no official names, so these names are rather toponymes.
A third disclaimer has to do with their safety. All are easily accessible, but not all have been signposted. Visiting them should be considered an exploration entailing personal care for safety, within the limits of one’s knowledge and capabilities. Alternatively, you can take a guide with you and organise a guided excursion, either with Explore Ziria (4X4 or with mountain buggies) or with Greekly (hiking excursion).
Welcome and Enjoy!
